Turn on a controller and SofaBox goes fullscreen. Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo button prompts, plus an on-screen keyboard. On Android, remap buttons and hold Home for mouse mode to use any app with your controller.
Home button, anywhere
Press your controller's Home button inside any game to jump back to SofaBox, then pick it again to carry on where you left off. Start another game and the old one closes — one game at a time, like a console.

Questions
Does SofaBox come with games or ROMs?
No. SofaBox is a launcher: it organizes and starts games and emulators you already own and have installed. It doesn't include or download any games.
Is SofaBox free?
Yes — adding and playing games is free. An optional SofaBox Pro upgrade with extra customization is planned.
Which controllers work?
Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch Pro and most Bluetooth or USB controllers. SofaBox shows the right button symbols for your controller automatically.
Does SofaBox collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, ads or analytics, and your library never leaves your device. See the privacy policy.
Why does the Android version need an accessibility permission?
It's optional. It lets your controller's Home button bring you back to SofaBox from inside a game, opens SofaBox when you connect a TV or DeX, makes DeX windows full screen, powers button mapping and mouse mode, and closes the previous game when you switch. SofaBox never records what you type or what's on screen, and nothing leaves your device. More in Help.
